Gap navigator. MEDIA ADVISOR. global strategist.
Lauren helps executives, teams, and individuals see what they're missing. She believes if you get the strategy right, the plan is allowed to shift.
A gap between assumption and reality. A capability that's missing, or going unused. A decision they don't know they need to make, or one they're stalled on.
She works alongside them until they have a clear read and a real path forward, not just an idea of one.
Lauren Scott finds the gap and closes it, before it costs you
ORIGIN STORY
Lauren is a strategist by trade, and an unconventional one. She's gone from management consulting in London for Accenture, to producing for major TV networks to a global strategist for Nielsen and NielsenIQ, advising organizations across markets and industries worldwide.
Each move built on the one before it. A business background got her into consulting. Project management got her into production. Consulting and storytelling got her into strategy. What made her willing to take each step was more simple: she trusts her ability to connect dots and figure anything out.
How she works
She asks the questions others don't, applies logic others overlook, and sees details most miss. Lauren connects the dots and applies data to understand what's actually going on when facing challenges and opportunities.
She can navigate and guide, and decision makers follow her because they trust her read.
Her PERSPECTIVE
Most people and teams don't have a strategy problem, they have a plan they mistook for a strategy.
Plans can look right on paper. It's the real constraints, timelines, people, resources, and capabilities that reveal whether it actually works.
field advisory
Work happens everywhere, not just in offices. Lauren goes where the work is, locally or across the globe, and advises in real time.
Field Advisory is presence, sound judgment and instincts, and the trust to be useful wherever the moment calls. Best for executives, high-profile individuals, directors, producers, and founders who need a discreet thought partner in real time.
A round of golf that turns into a brand strategy session between holes. A trip to Oxford, England, to facilitate a room of executives who need a diplomatic sounding board. Sitting with a board of directors to dissect what's working and what’s not in their non-profit’s growth strategy. Time on set with a director and producer, observing crew interactions, story and blockers, to help improve the production and avoid costs. The engagements vary.
Speaking
Lauren speaks on seeing clearly, moving decisively, and bringing people with you.
She talks to audiences about the gap between strategies and plans, drawing on a career built across consulting, television, and global strategy, and on what it actually takes to navigate a room, a constraint, or a decision others haven’t figured out yet.
